The supermarkets here sell them in funny deli type things with seawater spraying over them. You just grab a packet and help yourself. It gets weighed at the checkout and off you go.

Lay the shells in an oven pan.
Top with garlic butter, Tabasco sauce and cheese.
And grill til the cheese is melted - YUM!
YUM! I do like these - however I am the only one in my family that does. I like them in the vinegar solution mmm mmm (except I can't eat shellfish at the moment!)
ReplyDeleteawww... now I want some! I make mine in a white wine, garlic and cream sauce. Goes great with crusty bread as a dinner.

yum I loooooooove mussels. And so glad they are so cheap to buy from the supermarket, just so bummed no one in the rest of my family will eat them!! they all groan when I cook them up for myself :(
